Overview
Engulfed in the humungous Himalayas, a trip to Ladakh is like no other. Extending all the way from the Siachen glacier to the main Great Himalayas in the south, it provides a one of a kind travelling experience. Stunning Gompas (Tibetan Buddhist monasteries), fluttering prayer flags, whitewashed stupas, Ladakh is a riot of intricate murals and red-robed monks. With a culture similar to the Tibetans, the terrain of the land makes it a relatively more distinct place. With our female only travel group, explore this perfect blend of cultural and adventure tourism. Unrivaled destinations like the Indus-Zanskar Sangam, Pangong Tso and Nubra Valley makes a trip to Ladakh worth remembering. These places are so picturesque that they will take your breadth away. The clear blue waters, the ragged terrains and scattered greens makes for some camera worthy sceneries.
The culture of the land is heavily influenced by the neighbouring Tibet. However, despite this, the culture of Ladakh is rich and fascinating. The demography of Ladakh too, has played a strong role in shaping its culture as it exists today. The locals are relatively spiritual whose daily life often revolves around the gompa or monasteries.

location. After breakfast, we leave for the Indus-Zanskar Sangam through the ragged
terrain of Leh. En route falls the very mysterious Magnetic Hills. Can you ever

The Panoramic Nubra Valley
Get ready early in the morning for the road trip of your lifetime. We proceed to Nubra
Valley via the World’s Highest Motorable road, the Khardung-la Pass lying at an
elevation of 5602 mtrs. The Khardung-la Pass lies 18,380 ft above sea level and it is

be at the top of the world, making it a memorable journey for all the adrenaline
junkies. Through hairpin bends and high gradient tricky roads, we arrive at Nubra
Valley which is surrounded by thrillingly stark scree slopes and harsh arid mountains.
This is one of the most adventurous part of your solo trip to Ladakh. Our first stop
here are the Hunder White Sand Dunes. Bordered by snow-clad mountains that
present a picturesque backdrop to the arid but mesmerising landscape, this cold desert

blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and warm hospitality and Turtuk is also
known as the gateway to the Siachen Glacier, making it a strategically importantregion in the northern part of the country. Spend the day exploring this captivating

in the entire Ladakh, the Pangong Tso Lake after breakfast. Enroute cross Changla
Pass, the third highest motorable road in the world. With about 60% of the length
lying in China, the size of the lake is best inferred from the probable etymology of its
name, Pangong, which means extensive concavity. A colour-changing lake nestled in
India’s territory is a jaw dropping location. During winter it freezes so hard that one
drive a car on it. This is truly a remarkable highlight of our female only trip to Ladakh.

The next morning after breakfast, drive to Hemis monastery, located 40 kms from Leh,

from the major annual festival held here in summer in honor of Guru Padma
Sambhava’s birth anniversary. Within the monastery, there are to be seen a
copper-gilt statue of the Lord Buddha, various stupas made of gold and silver, sacred
thangkas and many other attractions. Afterwards drive to Thiksey Monastery. It is one
of the most beautiful monasteries of Ladakh, belonging to the Gelukpa Order of
Buddhism. Known for its impressive Maitreya Buddha statue, the monastery also
houses a large collection of religious and cultural artifacts, including thangkas (scroll
paintings), statues, and manuscripts. After these visits return to Leh and explore the
